Role overview
This position supports relationship managers in serving high-net-worth clients, with a focus on advisory support, portfolio monitoring, client servicing, and growth of existing and new relationships. The role is based in Dubai and sits within a private banking environment.
Key responsibilities
- Help deliver tailored financial solutions for a high-net-worth customer portfolio.
- Prepare periodic portfolio review updates for the relationship manager, build investment proposals, and ensure client information is accurate and current.
- Support the search for new high-net-worth clients and contribute to reviewing existing client businesses to identify fresh opportunities.
- Assist in setting sales and revenue goals for both current and prospective client relationships.
- Work alongside senior and relationship managers to provide clients with broad-based advisory support.
- Handle client questions, requests, and related transaction processing tasks.
- Review supporting documents and confirm that all activities meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Build customized financial plans aligned to each client’s risk profile.
- Track portfolio performance on an ongoing basis, including quarterly reviews and annual rebalancing.
- With approval from the senior or relationship manager, study competing offerings and gather client feedback to inform product development ideas.
- Escalate client concerns and suggestions to the senior or relationship manager as needed.
- Maintain a strong service standard through proactive client outreach and communication.
- Carry out non-routine client interactions only with prior consent from the senior or relationship manager.
- Work toward monthly KPIs and use performance tracking to support continuous improvement.
- Support portfolio management efforts by watching for growth opportunities and recommending actions that improve profitability while managing risk.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in relationship management and the sales of financial or investment products, ideally with a leading international or regional private bank.
- Strong command of English and Arabic, where applicable.
- Excellent communication, networking, and sales ability.
- Good interpersonal, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, investment products, and investment management principles.
- Awareness of market trends, as well as internal and external policies, controls, and regulations.
- Ability to present suitable financial solutions to sophisticated clients.
- Comfortable using MS Office and other standard computer tools.
