About The Charter School of Inquiry (CSI)
The Charter School of Inquiry (CSI) serves around 350 students from kindergarten through sixth grade and is a trusted community institution in Buffalo's Eastside. It promotes a culturally enriched learning environment emphasizing African and African American heritage, embedding this perspective across all subjects. CSI fosters academic growth via a student-driven inquiry learning model that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The school employs a co-teaching approach, featuring two certified teachers and a teaching assistant in each classroom. Staff members are eligible to join the New York State Teacher Retirement System.

Minimum Qualifications
- Possession of a valid New York State Teacher Certification as required by law
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Proven effective interpersonal communication skills
