Electrical Technician – After Sales (Power Generation)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Technician to become a part of our After Sales team in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will specialize in the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel generator electrical systems (Gensets) at customer locations, guaranteeing dependable functionality and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct both preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on diesel generators (Gensets).
• Identify and resolve electrical issues in generators, control panels, and related components.
• Execute installation, commissioning, testing, and startup of generators.
• Inspect and service generator electrical parts to maintain high performance.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
• Utilize electrical testing and diagnostic instruments for fault detection and repair.
• Document service activities and maintain detailed maintenance records after each customer visit.
• Adhere strictly to company safety protocols and quality standards.
• Offer technical assistance and maintenance suggestions to clients.
• Be prepared to travel within the region to customer sites as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related disciplines.
• At least 3 years experience in servicing and troubleshooting diesel generators (Gensets).
• In-depth understanding of generator electrical systems, control panels, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR), and protection systems.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Practical experience with electrical diagnostic and testing equipment.
• Strong communication abilities coupled with good customer service skills.
• Basic proficiency in English communication.
• Possessing a valid driving license is an advantage.
• Availability to work overtime and during weekends when required.
