Electrical Commissioning Agent

Overview

NorthFox Technologies is actively recruiting experienced Electrical Commissioning Agents to join their team and contribute to the delivery of data centre projects across Europe, including locations such as Sweden, Italy, and Norway. This role focuses on supporting commissioning, testing, and validation of electrical systems that are critical to mission-critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Examine installed electrical systems to confirm compliance with design specifications.
• Oversee and facilitate electrical testing and commissioning activities on site.
• Assess contractor test results and commissioning documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify issues during commissioning, monitor their progress, and aid in their resolution.
• Perform site inspections and track commissioning milestones to ensure adherence to plans.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Ensure commissioning programmes are delivered according to project timelines.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety throughout all on-site activities.

Candidate Profile

• Background in electrical engineering, commissioning, or critical infrastructure facilities.
• Experience in data centre, industrial, or large infrastructure projects with mission-critical components.
• Knowledgeable about low and high voltage electrical systems including switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and critical power infrastructure.
• Familiar with commissioning protocols, testing methodologies, and related documentation.
• Effective communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Holding an engineering degree or possessing equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Availability to travel within Europe as project requirements dictate.
• Must possess an EU or Irish passport.
