Key Responsibilities

• Maintain temperature control for cold storage and public areas to adhere to specified standards.
• Regularly inspect fire detection systems, firefighting equipment, transformers, and electrical installations to ensure proper operation.
• Collaborate with various departments to schedule and oversee routine servicing and equipment testing.
• Implement and track the Preventive Planned Maintenance (PPM) schedule daily with engineering support; maintain detailed documentation accordingly.
• Monitor daily utility consumption data and report to the Assistant Chief Engineer (ACE).
• Prioritize and address maintenance complaints efficiently while focusing on guest comfort; log all updates and notify supervisors when necessary.
• Oversee Building Management System (BMS) operations and verify equipment schedules.
• Respond swiftly to maintenance requests including emergencies, breakdowns, and urgent repairs involving electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and major equipment systems.
• Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering maintenance operations, completed tasks, pending issues, and performance indicators.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and occupational health standards.
• Support engineering teams during emergency and crisis scenarios.
• Escalate significant operational problems promptly to the Assistant Engineering Manager for resolution.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 to 5 years' experience in maintenance roles within the hospitality sector, with practical knowledge of hotel facility operations.
• Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (MEP).
• Competency in conducting both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks safely and effectively.
• Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members, contractors, and other departments.
• Ability to promptly diagnose and resolve maintenance challenges.
• A proactive, positive approach that supports teamwork and excellent guest service.
• Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
