Primary Responsibilities

• Create detailed piping-related drawings including general arrangement, isometric, and layout designs.
• Use AutoCAD or comparable drafting software to develop both 2D and 3D technical drawings.
• Analyze engineering plans, specifications, and technical data to accurately depict designs.
• Collaborate with design engineers and project teams to ensure drawing precision and alignment with project goals.
• Update and revise drawings according to project modifications and site demands.
• Keep organized documentation and manage version control for all drawings.
• Adhere strictly to relevant industry norms and company standards throughout the drafting process.

Job Requirements

• Applicants must hold a Diploma, ITI certification, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 3 years of field experience specializing in piping drafting is required.
• Strong command over AutoCAD software; familiarity with 3D drafting tools is advantageous.
• Comprehensive knowledge of piping layouts, relevant fittings, and industry standards is essential.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to coordinate effectively with team members.
• Attention to detail with a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Prior experience in fire protection system projects or industrial piping is favored.
• Awareness of applicable piping codes and standards will be beneficial.
