House of Consulting Office for Consulting Engineers Co. (HCO) is a prominent multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm in Saudi Arabia. We specialize in delivering integrated architectural, engineering, planning, and project management consultancy services that comprehensively support clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Position Overview
We are looking to hire an experienced Document Controller to join our team onsite in AlUla to aid the successful completion of a major construction project.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, manage, and preserve all project documentation following company protocols and document control standards.
- Handle receipt, registration, distribution, tracking, and archival of project documents, drawings, and correspondence.
- Verify that documents are thoroughly reviewed, authorized, and disseminated to appropriate parties.
- Maintain up-to-date document control logs, registers, and filing structures.
- Liaise with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients regarding submission and revision of documentation.
- Oversee document processing workflows to ensure timely handling of all project records.
- Generate reports about document statuses, transmission logs, and pending submissions.
- Safeguard the confidentiality, precision, and integrity of project documents.
- Provide support by keeping project documentation current throughout the entire lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to company guidelines and project-specific document requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Document Controller within construction or engineering environments.
- Experience in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) organizations is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with document control platforms such as Aconex, EDMS, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), or equivalents.
- Deep understanding of document management best practices and project documentation workflows.
- Strong organizational skills paired with effective communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with a focus on Excel and Word.
- Able to perform efficiently in a dynamic, site-based workspace.
