Role Overview
As a Dispatcher at HOT, your responsibility will be to oversee daily load planning and coordination for assigned trucks and drivers, ensuring routes are optimized and deliveries are punctual. Routine communication with drivers, brokers, and internal personnel is crucial for providing real-time updates, resolving challenges, and maintaining precise records within the dispatch system.
Working Hours
This is a full-time, onsite position with a 40-hour workweek. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 10 PM.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of one year of experience as a dispatcher, specifically with Dry Van operations, is mandatory.
- Proficiency in English is advantageous but not mandatory; having an accent is acceptable.
- Experience in freight brokerage is a desirable bonus but not essential.
- Being comfortable with technology and having an interest in tech-related matters may increase earning potential.
- Ability to multitask is valued and may lead to higher compensation.
- Proactiveness and the initiative to suggest operational improvements are welcome; however, those preferring to focus solely on dispatch tasks without additional input are equally accepted.
