Dishwasher / Cleaner

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Dishwasher/Cleaner to become a valuable member of our team in Baddeck, Nova Scotia. This role encompasses maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, kitchen areas, dining spaces, and equipment while lending support to the kitchen personnel as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize all kitchenware including dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans as well as kitchen equipment.
• Maintain the dishwashing station in an orderly and stocked condition with all necessary supplies.
• Sanitize kitchen counters, floors, sinks, and food prep stations regularly.
• Clean customer dining spaces including tables, chairs, washrooms, and other required areas.
• Sweep and mop floors throughout the entire restaurant facility.
• Strictly follow sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Store cleaning materials safely and apply cleaning agents according to provided directions.
• Help sustain a safe, clean, and inviting environment for both staff and guests.
• Carry out additional assigned cleaning and support duties as needed.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Full-time position with shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
• Hourly wage of $20.00.
