Overview

Join Activate Learning, a prominent UK education and skills group, as the Director of Sales. This role offers a pivotal leadership opportunity to expand our commercial initiatives and diversify revenue streams. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and collaborating with the Executive Team, you will spearhead the commercial sales department, fostering growth in projects, training, and other revenue-generating efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that targets new markets while cultivating enduring partnerships with employers, public sectors, and industry entities. Manage the Head of Commercial Product Innovation and Head of Commercial Finance to design and launch viable commercial products responsive to employer demands, ensuring sustainable expansion. Lead sales and business engagement teams to establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer focus, utilizing sales forecasting and pipeline management to meet ambitious financial objectives aligned with the organization's goals.

The ideal candidate will be a commercially savvy leader with extensive experience in commercial sales or business development leadership roles. Demonstrated ability to achieve significant revenue growth, secure major contracts, and identify fresh opportunities is essential.
