Position Overview
The Education and Workforce Development Department is recruiting an experienced and strategic individual to lead the Advance and Earn program as its Director. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients, and maintaining essential community and government partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise program staff involved with Advance and Earn activities.
- Manage relationships with the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD), including serving as the primary agency liaison.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual agreements and timely submission of DYCD administrative reports.
- Implement performance monitoring systems, data collection, and program evaluation, including facilitating external evaluations.
- Collaborate with staff to align program operations with agency priorities and workforce development best practices.
- Coordinate data reporting and quality assurance tasks to demonstrate program effectiveness.
Schedule and Compensation
The position entails a Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 35 hours per week. The salary range offered for this role is between $83,054.40 and $93,436.20 annually. Salary determinations take into account the applicant's experience in comparable roles and any additional qualifications.
