About the role
Lyasmin Design & Build is looking for a driven and imaginative professional to serve as a Design & Project Coordinator in interior design and fit-out. The role focuses on client engagement, design development, project coordination, and delivering projects smoothly from the initial idea through final handover.
What you'll do
- Hold meetings with clients to understand their needs and offer professional design guidance.
- Create mood boards, conceptual layouts, and presentation materials.
- Liaise with the design team to develop project proposals.
- Carry out quantity take-offs, prepare BOQs, and support project pricing.
- Recommend suitable materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings.
- Coordinate shop drawings and technical submissions with consultants and the site team.
- Monitor implementation through site follow-ups and visits, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
- Assist with business development activities and help drive company expansion.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in interior design or fit-out projects.
- Solid understanding of BOQs, cost estimation, and material specification.
- Hands-on ability with AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Capability to juggle several projects at once and work to tight deadlines.
- A valid driving licence is mandatory.
- Must be willing to travel for site inspections and client meetings.
