Role Overview
The Deputy Vice President of Digital Partnership will spearhead the entire development and expansion of strategic digital collaborations. This role requires managing the partner lifecycle end-to-end—from identification and onboarding to commercialization, integration, and business growth—while coordinating with various internal teams such as Product, Technology, Operations, Underwriting, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and onboard new digital ecosystem partners, including fintech firms, telecom providers, aggregators, marketplaces, digital platforms, and super-apps.
- Manage all stages of partnership lifecycle including business development, commercial negotiations, onboarding, implementation, and scaling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor insurance products and optimize digital customer experiences for each partner.
- Lead commercial discussions and develop business cases to support partnerships.
- Analyze market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging opportunities to recommend potential partnerships to senior leadership.
- Engage in frequent regional travel to meet potential partners for business development.
- Take ownership of partner onboarding processes from pitching to regular business reviews, executive presentations, and ongoing relationship management.
- Coordinate internally across departments to ensure timely partner launch and smooth operations.
- Conduct weekly partnership pipeline reviews and provide monthly updates to leadership teams.
- Identify potential risks in partnerships and escalate issues appropriately.
