Job Details

Delivery drivers have the choice to use their own reliable vehicle and receive an adjustable mileage reimbursement covering fuel and related expenses, or opt to drive one of Domino's company vehicles (eligibility requires being at least 21 years old, having a clean driving record with a minimum of two years of driving history). The position demands safe driving with efficient navigation using advanced technology to ensure timely and secure deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and beverages to customer locations safely and promptly, often navigating complex routes including multi-story buildings and up to five flights of stairs.
• Manage multiple deliveries per shift while adhering to Domino's quality and customer service standards.
• Use safe driving practices and comply with delivery area guidelines.
• Operate delivery vehicles, maintaining clean, professional, and responsible behavior.
• Perform physical tasks like walking, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and handling pizza preparation tools as part of the delivery and store duties.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license and safe driving record (subject to Motor Vehicle Report review).
• Possess reliable transportation and valid insurance if using personal vehicle.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Strong navigational skills, including map reading and route planning within a designated delivery area.
• Capacity to work well independently and as part of a team under stressful environments.
• Meet strict quality control and customer service standards.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Exposure to varying weather conditions and temperature fluctuations ranging from cold storage temperatures (36°F) to hot kitchen areas (90°F and above).
• Work involves handling hot surfaces (ovens up to 500°F), exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust, and confined working spaces such as walk-in coolers.
• Physical activities include walking between locations, climbing stairs, bending, reaching (up to above 72 inches), handling pizza preparation and packaging materials requiring good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Ability to communicate via telephone and possess adequate vision for both in-store tasks and safe nighttime driving.
