This position involves collecting grocery items or parcels from the Blinkit dark store and delivering them to customers promptly, aiming for delivery times between 10 and 20 minutes. Delivery is managed through the Blinkit Partner App, and maintaining good ratings and punctuality is crucial.
Job Type and Schedule
The role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible shifts across mornings, evenings, or nights. The majority of work will be conducted outdoors, necessitating use of a bike or scooter.
Compensation Details
Earnings are calculated per delivery plus incentives and petrol allowances. Average earnings per order range from ₹20 to ₹35. Typical monthly income varies widely based on effort and working hours:
- Standard full-time work yields ₹20,000 to ₹30,000
- Higher performance and longer hours can increase earnings to ₹40,000 to ₹70,000
- Intensive work and incentives may lead to ₹80,000 or more
Achieving ₹40,000 to ₹50,000 monthly requires:
- Working 10 to 12+ hours daily
- Completing 25 to 40+ orders daily
- Operating during peak times, such as evenings and nights
- Working in a busy urban area
The income depends heavily on order availability, demand in your delivery area, your chosen working hours, and petrol expenses, which are often paid out-of-pocket. Daily income can fluctuate significantly.
Example Earnings Breakdown
- 30 orders × ₹25 per order = ₹750
- Incentives range between ₹200 and ₹500
- Total daily income approximately ₹900 to ₹1,200
- For 26 days of work, monthly income can reach ₹25,000 to ₹40,000
