About the Role
Join Blinkit as a Delivery Boy, responsible for picking up grocery or parcel orders from Blinkit's dark store and delivering them to customers promptly, aiming for 10 to 20 minutes delivery time. This position primarily involves fieldwork requiring a bike or scooter and timely use of the Blinkit Partner App to manage deliveries and maintain performance ratings.
Work Schedule and Earnings
The role offers both full-time and part-time options with flexible shifts covering morning, evening, and night slots. Compensation is structured on a per-order basis, with additional incentives and petrol allowances. Earnings vary based on order volume, work hours, and location demand.
Compensation Details
- Per order payment ranges between ₹20 to ₹35 on average.
- Typical monthly income for normal full-time work ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹30,000.
- High performers working extended hours (10–12+ hours/day) completing 25–40+ orders can earn between ₹40,000 and ₹70,000 monthly.
- Heavy workload combined with incentives can push monthly earnings above ₹80,000.
Conditions to Achieve Higher Earnings
- Work long hours daily (10–12+ hours).
- Complete at least 25 to 40 deliveries per day.
- Operate during peak times such as evenings and nights.
- Work in high-demand, busy city areas.
- Receive additional incentives, bonuses, and petrol allowances.
Important Considerations
This role is gig-based and income is not a fixed monthly salary. Earnings fluctuate depending on order availability, area demand, personal working hours, and expenses like petrol. Some days may bring lower income. For example, completing 30 orders in a day at ₹25 each plus incentives of ₹200 to ₹500 could yield about ₹900 to ₹1,200 daily or approximately ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 monthly over 26 working days.
Requirements
- Must own a bike or scooter and have a valid driving license.
- Possession of an Android smartphone for the partner app.
- Valid Aadhaar card, PAN card, and a bank account for payments.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
