Aaratech Inc. is hiring a Data Analyst focused on retail and e-commerce. The position centers on turning business data into actionable insights that help the company grow, improve performance, and make better strategic decisions.
What you’ll do
- Gather, prepare, and analyze datasets related to retail and e-commerce operations.
- Create dashboards and recurring reports to track sales, inventory, and customer metrics.
- Spot patterns, customer behavior trends, and new business opportunities through data exploration.
- Work closely with teams across marketing, sales, operations, and broader business functions.
- Maintain high standards for data quality, consistency, and reporting accuracy.
- Share findings, insights, and recommendations with internal stakeholders.
Experience and qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a similar discipline is required.
- Applicants should have at least 2 years of experience working as a data analyst, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization platforms is expected.
- Prior work with sales, customer, or operational datasets is needed.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication ability, and problem-solving skills are important for this role.
Preferred tools and knowledge
- Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence software is an advantage.
- Familiarity with e-commerce systems and customer analytics is beneficial.
- Basic Python or R skills for data analysis are a plus.
- Comfort with large datasets and SQL databases will be helpful.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are valued.
Compensation and work authorization
The annual compensation for this role is between $60,000 and $70,000. Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States, as sponsorship is not available.
