Role Overview
As a Data Analyst at Jobright.ai, you will leverage product, market, and user data to generate valuable insights that enhance search functionality, recommendations, and overall user engagement. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to impactful AI products that serve real users.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine data from product usage, user behavior, and job market trends to uncover actionable patterns and growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries along with recurring reports and dashboards to monitor performance metrics.
- Establish and track critical product and business metrics to guide decision-making.
- Support experimental evaluations such as A/B testing and analyze the effects of feature updates.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues to enhance accuracy and reliability of reports.
- Communicate analytic results clearly to cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
Qualifications
Required:
- Recent graduate or upcoming graduate in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or similar disciplines.
- Proficient in SQL and experienced with spreadsheets or Python programming.
- Fundamental knowledge of statistics, data analysis methods, and experimental design.
- Strong detail orientation paired with problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work remotely based in the United States.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with data tools like pandas, scikit-learn, Tableau, Looker, or equivalents.
- Understanding of product analytics, recommendation engines, or search technologies.
- Experience managing large or complex datasets.
- Prior involvement in internships, academic research, or analytic projects.
