Cybersecurity System Operator

About the Role

Emaar Executive Company (EEC) invites applications for the position of Cybersecurity System Operator to join their Cybersecurity team. The candidate will be responsible for operating, managing, and monitoring security systems, responding to cyber incidents, and ensuring continuous security operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to manage various cybersecurity systems such as Firewall, WAF, SIEM, Antivirus, EDR, and Proxy.
• Continuously monitor security alerts and incidents.
• Classify incidents into appropriate categories.
• Take action based on incident severity, including notifying system administrators, following incident response protocols, escalating issues as needed, and documenting all incidents accurately.
• Address user requests related to cybersecurity services.
• Track cyber attacks and collect intelligence on attackers.
• Create or update use cases for new systems and applications.
• Analyze events and cybersecurity incidents reported by the Cybersecurity Authority.
• Ensure system compliance with MNG-HA technical security standards, approved by IT management post-evaluation.
• Coordinate with other departments during investigations.
• Prepare monthly reports summarizing major handled incidents.
• Maintain and operate the latest releases of cybersecurity systems available at the health affairs entity.
• Identify, classify, prioritize, and investigate related events gathered from firewalls, network devices, proxies, IDS/IPS, antivirus, databases, servers, and endpoints.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi nationality is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Two to five years of experience in operating cybersecurity systems or working within Security Operations Centers (SOC).
• Experience in managing F5 BIG-IP solutions, possession of F5 certification, or demonstrated practical proficiency with the technology.
• Certified in at least one of the following: CISSP, CASP+ with CCNA.
• Hands-on expertise in Firewall, SIEM, WAF, EDR, IDS/IPS, Proxy, and Endpoint Security technologies.
• Strong knowledge of incident response procedures and threat analysis.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Ability to function effectively in team-oriented and operational environments.
