Cyber Security Specialist

Role Overview

This position involves aiding the creation and execution of cybersecurity standards, conducting various assessments, managing identity and access, handling vulnerabilities and patch updates, overseeing network monitoring, and managing incident responses including forensic analysis. Additionally, the role supports the development of security architectures and cyber threat intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update cybersecurity standards and procedures.
• Execute thorough cybersecurity evaluations such as maturity, risk, compliance, vulnerability, social engineering, and penetration testing assessments.
• Safeguard data and information systems from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
• Control and monitor information asset access.
• Assist in the design and tracking of cybersecurity performance metrics within the company.
• Implement and facilitate cybersecurity awareness initiatives and training sessions.
• Support incident management activities, including conducting investigations and forensic analysis.

Qualifications

• Academic background: Bachelor's degree in IT-related fields including Information Security, Information Technology, Computer & Information Systems, or Network Administration.
• Certifications: Must possess certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CRISC, Security+, or G-SOC.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years working in the cybersecurity domain.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Possession of further specialized certifications or substantial experience in cybersecurity is advantageous.
