Role Overview

This position is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam, Eastern Saudi Arabia, focusing on customs clearance coordination. The incumbent will oversee all facets of customs brokerage, facilitating import and export processes by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring strict adherence to customs regulations. Effective communication with clients, customs agents, and authorities is essential to maintain smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate customs brokerage operations for import and export shipments.
• Prepare and verify documentation required for customs clearance processes.
• Ensure all activities comply with relevant customs laws and trade regulations.
• Liaise proficiently with clients, customs officials, and internal departments to resolve clearance issues and delays.
• Monitor shipment timelines and provide regular updates regarding shipment statuses to all stakeholders via email.

Qualifications and Skills

• Deep knowledge of customs brokerage processes and procedures.
• Comprehensive understanding of Customs H.S. code related to import and export management.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and customs authorities.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities.
• Experience with customs clearance-related software tools is desirable.
• Preferred educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
