Customer Service Representative

About the Role

Based in Castlebar, County Mayo, MCC Label is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team. The position operates during the day shift from Monday to Thursday between 08:30 to 17:00 and on Fridays from 08:30 to 16:00.

Key Responsibilities

• Building enduring relationships with a defined group of clients.
• Serving as the intermediary between customers and internal departments to guarantee successful order fulfillment.
• Managing the processing of customer orders and sending order confirmations.
• Ensuring accurate pricing is applied during order entry for invoicing purposes.
• Generating and releasing production work instructions based on orders.
• Issuing quotations as required.
• Providing data necessary to support Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Updating and maintaining work instructions relevant to assigned customer groups.

Candidate Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong willingness to acquire new knowledge.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computers with an intermediate or higher level of Microsoft Excel skills.
• A people-focused approach and ability to collaborate well in team settings.
• Previous experience in customer service, preferably within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Minimum education requirement of Leaving Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
