Role overview
Schnellecke Logistics USA is looking for a reliable, detail-focused Custodian to help maintain cleanliness and sanitation across its manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This position is important for keeping the work environment safe, orderly, and professional for everyone on site.
What you'll do
- Keep break rooms and shared spaces clean and properly sanitized
- Remove trash from receptacles and fit them with fresh liners
- Sweep and mop floors, and keep floor areas in good condition
- Clean tables, counters, appliances, and other high-contact surfaces
- Replenish paper goods and soap as needed
- Look after cleaning tools and flag any equipment issues for repair
- Work in line with safety procedures and PPE expectations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work is preferred, especially in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to work on your own and use time efficiently
- A careful eye for detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
Physical demands
- Must be able to stand and walk for long stretches
- Must be able to lift up to 25–40 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach frequently
