Role Overview

As a Credit Analyst focusing on new verticals, you will evaluate the financial and operational data of prospective and existing clients to understand their business fundamentals, risks, and suitability for Wayflyer's financing solutions. This role involves active participation in customer conversations, collaborating closely with sales and operations teams, and contributing to the development of underwriting processes and products. It offers decision-making responsibility in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze comprehensive financial and operational details to assess business viability and risk.
• Engage with clients via calls to extract key information and relay insights within the team.
• Collaborate with sales and operations departments to grasp deal mechanics and help enhance underwriting frameworks.
• Make impactful, timely credit decisions contributing directly to business outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Proficient in financial reporting and confident in presenting analyses to senior personnel.
• Experience with Excel or SQL is advantageous.
• Professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, or CIMA, or progress towards them, are beneficial but not mandatory.

Location and Work Policy

Position based in Dublin, operating under a hybrid work model requiring 3-4 days per week in the office.
