About the Role
Infotek Consulting Inc. is seeking a Credit Analyst / Credit Adjudication Associate for a 1-year contract based in Toronto, ON, with a hybrid work arrangement (two days onsite weekly). This position supports the Private Banking and Wealth team of a financial services client, ideal for candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in banking or financial services who have keen attention to detail and an interest in credit adjudication, lending, or wealth management.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess credit applications for completeness, correctness, and verify attached supporting documents.
- Review financial documents thoroughly and identify any missing or pending information.
- Liaise with internal teams to acquire necessary documentation.
- Assist in preparing and processing lending applications efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to lending policy guidelines, compliance with regulations, and risk management standards.
- Contribute to enhancing processes, generating reports, and standardizing work procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
- Between 1 and 2 years of relevant experience in banking or financial services sectors.
- Diploma or degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related disciplines is advantageous.
- Familiarity with lending practices, credit analysis, or wealth management is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, organizational capabilities, and communication proficiency.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel and Outlook applications.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
