Role Overview

As the Corporate Affairs Manager based at our Singapore headquarters, you will helm external affairs governance across multiple markets. Your role bridges government relations, institutional partnerships, and corporate responsibility to ensure DayOne is recognized as a trustworthy and enduring collaborator by policymakers, regulators, industry groups, and other key stakeholders.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and update an organized, headquarters-level database of essential external stakeholders, including government bodies, economic development agencies, regulatory authorities, industry organizations, institutional partners, and influential actors across all operational markets.
• Establish prioritized engagement approaches and timelines to bolster DayOne’s strategic positioning over time.
• Aggregate and analyze policy trends, regulatory changes, and public-sector sentiment spanning various regions, converting diverse local data into clear, actionable insights tailored for senior leadership decision-making.
• Strengthen and maintain DayOne’s presence within industry platforms, research entities, economic agencies, strategic partnerships, and government-adjacent organizations, ensuring impactful representation and narrative delivery in key forums.
• Lead and synchronize significant cross-market projects, including market-entry initiatives, institutional collaborations, government or industry delegations, and pivotal memoranda of understanding, applying structured project management to align internal teams and regional offices.
• Prepare high-grade briefing materials, executive talking points, and documents to support leadership interactions with governmental and institutional stakeholders.
• Design and supervise corporate social responsibility (CSR) and community programs that reinforce DayOne’s reputation and stakeholder engagement, ensuring initiatives have strategic relevance and credibility.
• Monitor ongoing policy discussions, regulatory signals, and emerging risks that could impact DayOne’s interests, coordinating prompt and cohesive responses for multi-jurisdictional challenges.
• Foster cohesive internal communication between headquarters, country teams, and functional units regarding external stakeholders, policy developments, and engagement tactics, while defining escalation mechanisms and decision-making frameworks for complex multi-market issues.

Requirements

• Between 5 to 8 years of professional experience in corporate affairs, public policy, government relations, external relations, or closely related areas.
• Proven success in collaborating with governments, regulatory authorities, economic agencies, or institutional partners.
• Strong analytical ability to distill multifaceted external environments into structured insights for executive audiences.
• Exemplary English communication skills, both written and oral, particularly for high-level executive materials.
• Experienced in leading cross-functional and multi-market projects with effective coordination.
• Capacity to exercise discretion, mature stakeholder judgment, and professionalism in sensitive, high-visibility settings.
• Background or familiarity with data center operations, infrastructure, energy, or technology industries is considered advantageous.
