Position Overview

Immediate start at the Jugendherberge Heringsdorf. The contract is permanent and full-time with a variable annual working time totaling 2080 hours per year.

Candidate Profile

Completed vocational training in gastronomy, such as a cook
Professional experience is preferred
Experienced in community catering and special dietary needs
Knowledgeable in inventory management and cost control
Enjoys teamwork and has genuine enthusiasm for the position

Working Conditions

This role follows a variable annual working hour model suitable for seasonal operations, ensuring year-round employment combined with seasonally adjusted working hours. Full-time work amounts to 2080 hours annually. A willingness to work in shifts, including Sundays and public holidays, is essential. About Us

The DJH Landesverband Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e. V. operates 12 youth hostels situated in scenic locations including seaside, natural areas, and lakes. We are a nonprofit youth welfare organization serving youth groups, school classes, and families. Our focus is offering a diverse educational and leisure program for young guests.
