Role Overview
As a Cook at Dexterra Group, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality, nutritious meals within scheduling and budget requirements, ensuring food safety, cleanliness, and supervising kitchen operations. This role reports to the Manager and directly impacts client satisfaction through excellent food service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food storage areas at all times.
- Prepare meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to client schedules and menu plans.
- Adapt to client preferences and dietary needs with flexibility.
- Comply with Occupational Health and Safety standards and relevant food handling regulations.
- Follow Dexterra and hospital policies and procedures consistently.
- Manage kitchen inventory efficiently.
- Keep accurate and signed records of meals served.
Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare settings is preferred.
- Proven cooking experience, demonstrating culinary skills.
- Must have a clear criminal background check.
