Primary Responsibilities

• Devise and support contracting strategies and coordinate tendering actions specifically for EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) projects.
• Create, examine, negotiate, and manage construction and service-related contracts to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
• Oversee the entire supplier selection process including bidder prequalification, bid assessments, negotiations, and finalizing contract awards.
• Administer contract modifications, handle variations and claims, and supervise contract closure procedures.
• Monitor that contractors strictly meet their contractual duties and align with project demands.
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation, reporting, and utilize contract management systems efficiently.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, legal teams, project controls, and project stakeholders to mitigate contractual risks and manage commercial aspects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Degree holders in disciplines such as Business, Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or closely related fields.
• Demonstrable experience working on EPCM, mining, industrial, or large-scale capital projects.
• Proven expertise in contract preparation, negotiation, and administration.
• Solid understanding of commercial terms, risk management in contracts, and procurement procedures.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Additional credentials in legal or commercial domains are preferred.
• Familiarity with FIDIC and other recognized standard contract formats.
• Insight into Saudi contractual norms and local content rules is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Arabic language is considered a plus.

Work Location and Hours

The position is based in Jubail at the Chamber of Commerce Building, Al-Shati, Fanateer. The standard working week runs from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
