About the Company

Role Overview
This role requires a talented storyteller with the capability to craft informative news articles, explainers, and features that elucidate economic happenings and their consequences for readers.
Key Responsibilities
- Report on and analyze business, economic, and financial developments both within India and internationally.
- Produce well-researched news pieces, explainers, feature write-ups, and analytical content related to business, markets, policies, and economic matters.
- Translate complicated economic and financial information into engaging, readily understandable material suitable for a broad digital audience.
- Monitor key macroeconomic indicators, governmental policies, corporate news, and market trends.
- Develop original story concepts and spot emerging issues that resonate with readers.
- Work closely with the editorial team to ensure coverage is timely, accurate, and impactful.
- Uphold strict editorial standards through thorough research and fact-checking.
Qualifications & Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, or Finance is preferred.
- Between 2 and 4 years of experience reporting business, economic, or financial news in a digital newsroom environment.
- A strong grasp of economics, finance, financial markets, banking, and public policy is essential.
- Excellent analytical capabilities, with aptitude for interpreting data and reports.
- Proven ability to create captivating feature articles, explainers, and analytical pieces.
- Effective communication skills and the capacity to thrive in a fast-moving digital publishing setting.
