About the Role

The Lexsphere is inviting applications for a Content Creator who will produce short-form video content focusing on the vibrant culture, food, streets, and ghats of Varanasi. This position requires filming on-location around the city, capturing interviews with local residents and vendors, and editing video content with basic post-production techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging short videos highlighting various aspects of Varanasi including its culture and daily life.
• Conduct on-the-spot interviews with locals and vendors to capture authentic stories.
• Perform basic video editing such as trimming, adding captions, integrating background music, and color adjustments using mobile applications like CapCut or InShot.
• Travel independently within Varanasi to multiple shooting locations, often on short notice.

Requirements

• Own a bike to commute across various shooting spots in the city, which is mandatory for this role.
• Basic proficiency with mobile video editing apps; professional video software experience is not required.
• Comfortable engaging with strangers and local vendors for interviews.
• Fundamental understanding of camera or smartphone filming, including framing, ensuring stability, and capturing clear audio.
• A laptop is desirable for editing and file management but is not compulsory if the candidate prefers mobile-only workflows.
• Familiarity with Varanasi’s local areas, dialect, or prior content creation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Conditions

This is a field-centric role primarily around Kandwa and wider Varanasi, requiring mobility and on-location work.

Compensation

The position offers a monthly salary ranging between 8000 to 11000 INR.
