Role Overview

As a Consultant Audit within the Audit & Assurance - Audit Industry team, you will engage deeply with the dynamic and multifaceted field of financial statement auditing. Our team supports companies of various sizes with comprehensive advisory and service offerings. Secure our shared success and make a difference by contributing your expertise in this role.

Locations

The position is available in multiple cities including Berlin, Dresden, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt (Main), Hannover, Köln, Leipzig, Magdeburg, Mannheim, München, Nürnberg, and Stuttgart.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently assist with auditing annual and consolidated financial statements according to HGB, IFRS or US GAAP standards.
  • Develop a profound understanding of client business processes and internal controls within a risk-oriented audit approach.
  • Support client contacts in adopting new accounting standards, auditing sustainability reports, and crafting innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Employ Deloitte’s cutting-edge digital and innovative audit tools during audits of both national and international companies.
  • Collaborate interdisciplinarily with teams from Tax & Legal, Consulting, and Corporate Finance to achieve shared goals.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree in economics, mathematics, computer science, or related fields, with specialization areas such as accounting, auditing, taxation, or controlling.
  • Solid knowledge of national or international accounting principles.
  • Initial practical experience gained through internships domestically or abroad, or ideally through vocational training.
  • Strong communication skills, teamwork aptitude, and a responsible mindset.
  • Fluent command of both German and English languages.
