Role Overview

We are hiring experienced Construction Tradesmen, Construction Workers, and Labourers for full-time, site-based roles in Northern Queensland, specifically the Whitsunday area. The positions involve direct involvement in residential and community development projects, where candidates will contribute practical skills and labour to ensure high-quality construction results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general construction and trade duties across multiple active sites.
• Assist with site preparation, framing, fixing, formwork, installation, and finishing tasks.
• Support site supervisors and trades teams to maintain project workflow and meet deadlines.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and skillfully.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment by loading, unloading, and organizing on site.
• Ensure work areas remain clean, safe, and orderly throughout project stages.
• Follow project plans, instructions, and site protocols to complete tasks accurately.
• Identify and promptly report hazards, defects, delays, or safety issues.
• Assist in defect repairs, finishing works, and preparing sites for handover as needed.
• Comply strictly with workplace health and safety regulations, site rules, and quality standards at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in construction, trade work, labouring, or related site-based roles.
• Trade qualifications are a strong advantage for tradesmen candidates.
• Sound practical understanding of construction methods, tools, and safety procedures.
• Capability to work in physically demanding outdoor conditions.
• Dependability, punctuality, and ability to effectively collaborate within a team.
• Possession of a valid White Card is mandatory.
• A current driver’s license is required.
• Additional certifications, machinery operation experience, or relevant site competencies are beneficial.
• Experience in residential, civil infrastructure, modular, or general building projects is highly valued.
• A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and dedication to producing quality workmanship.
