Company Trainee

Role Overview

This trainee position at our manufacturing facility in Padi, Chennai focuses on gaining hands-on experience in automotive electrical and mechatronic product manufacturing processes. The trainee will support production engineers, operate machinery post-training, ensure product quality, and maintain accurate production and maintenance records.

Key Responsibilities

• Learning and understanding various manufacturing techniques specific to automotive electrical and mechatronics items.
• Assisting production engineers directly on the shop floor to facilitate smooth operations.
• Operating machinery in adherence to established standard operating procedures after receiving appropriate training.
• Inspecting manufactured components to uphold quality standards continuously.
• Accurately documenting data related to production, quality assurance, and maintenance activities.
• Adhering strictly to established safety protocols, 5S workplace organization principles, and company guidelines.
• Assisting with preventive maintenance and aiding in troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and maintenance to achieve daily operational targets.
• Engaging in technical training sessions aimed at ongoing skill enhancement.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Basic educational background such as ITI, Diploma, Degree, or BE in any department.
• A keen willingness to learn and adapt to shift-based work schedules.
• Essential soft skills including teamwork, discipline, and effective communication.
• Foundational problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
