Position Overview
The Community Specialist role involves implementing the store's community engagement strategy by building relationships, organizing and participating in events, supporting product seeding, and interacting with local studios. The specialist cultivates and maintains vital relationships with lululemon Ambassadors and other influential community partners to add reciprocal value. Additionally, they provide exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor, integrating community insights into guest interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with store leaders to activate community strategy through foundational community pillars and exceptional guest experiences.
- Develop and sustain crucial local partnerships such as Ambassadors, Sweat Collective members, studio owners, and lululemon Studio partners to drive guest acquisition and retention.
- Engage proactively with the local community to find prospective Ambassadors or partners and elevate the store’s role as a community hub.
- Connect with customers on the sales floor, assess their specific needs, provide technical product knowledge, and smoothly incorporate omnichannel offerings for a seamless experience.
- Attend, support, and host community events at local and regional levels.
- Implement the product seeding strategy in collaboration with community partners and Ambassadors.
- Analyze community-related business data and metrics to glean insights and offer recommendations to store leadership on community initiatives.
- Promote a respectful and inclusive team environment that embraces diversity to ensure a supportive, productive, and enjoyable workplace for all team members.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Must have legal authorization to work in the store’s country.
- Reliable transportation required to commute to the assigned store location.
- Flexible work schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasionally early mornings or late nights during peak periods or special events.
- Minimum of one year experience in customer service, grassroots marketing, brand engagement, or community development.
- Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and experience developing or maintaining client, group, or partner relationships, as well as motivating team members.

Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly base pay ranging from $18.25 to $20.99, in accordance with local minimum wage laws.
- Bonus target of $3.00 per hour, totaling $21.25 to $23.99 hourly compensation.
- Pay reflects market location, and individual qualifications including skills, experience, and equity considerations.
