About the Role
Welcome Hotels is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Commis de Rang (m/f/d) to join their team in Bamberg, Bavaria. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality, excellent people skills, and a desire to contribute to a dynamic team environment. The position is offered as full-time, with the possibility of part-time employment upon discussion. We are looking for individuals who are trendsetters, all-rounders, and team players with a natural talent for hosting.
Responsibilities
- Serving beverages and meals, including providing recommendations and attentive service to guests in our restaurants.
- Preparing conference rooms and managing coffee breaks.
- Organizing and setting up for events such as weddings, birthdays, and corporate functions.
- Overseeing and managing conferences and events.
- Supervising and guiding auxiliary staff, interns, and apprentices.
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations (HACCP) and safety standards.
- Carrying out professional cleaning of equipment, machinery, materials, and furniture.
- Completing mise en place tasks for respective shifts.
- Instructing apprentices.
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the hotel or gastronomy sector.
- A well-groomed and professional appearance.
- A friendly, open, and approachable personality.
- Strong teamwork, loyalty, reliability, flexibility, and meticulousness.
- A genuine desire to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent command of the German language.
