About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Site Manager for a well-established main contractor based in Auckland. This temporary contract position calls for a professional able to take immediate control of an active construction site and maintain steady progress on a key commercial project.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations on site and coordinate various subcontractors efficiently.
- Ensure the site remains safe, compliant with regulations, and thoroughly documented.
- Keep track of progress relative to the project schedule and promptly escalate any concerns.
- Manage quality assurance processes, conduct inspections, and handle defect resolution.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, engineers, and the broader delivery team to achieve project goals.
- Organize materials, tradespeople, and logistics to streamline workflow.
- Tackle site challenges promptly to keep the construction timeline on target.
