Role overview
BOC Limited, part of Linde, is hiring a Commercial Planner in Leixlip, Ireland. The role focuses on supporting commercial, finance, and supply chain activities by maintaining vendor and cost data, auditing billing, and helping improve operational processes.
What you will do
- Set up new vendors and keep vendor rate files updated and controlled.
- Maintain cost and sales master data, ensuring updates and revisions are managed accurately.
- Carry out billing checks in Rootstock against agreed purchase and selling rates.
- Prepare and review RFQs and RFIs with steam shipping lines as well as road and rail transport providers.
- Organize and maintain SharePoint content so information is easy to find and use.
- Review vendor invoices that are under query and help resolve outstanding disputes.
- Compile trucking rates into the master file.
- Support projects aimed at improving operational productivity, reducing costs, and streamlining processes.
- Assist the finance manager with monthly reconciliation work for the end customer.
