About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Club Services Coordinator to foster a welcoming and dynamic community at our Star of the Sea facility in Torquay, Victoria. This role supports both full-time and part-time arrangements and involves collaboration with internal teams to design and deliver engaging club services programs tailored to our residents' interests and preferences. A key focus lies in promoting available services, boosting participation, and ensuring sustainable engagement to enrich the residents' overall experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a warm, inclusive, person-centred environment for residents, their families, and visitors.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate diverse club activities and programs that enhance well-being, social connection, and inclusion.
- Proactively promote and expand participation in both new and existing service offerings aimed at improving residents' quality of life.
- Provide residents and their families with assistance in understanding and accessing various programs and services.
- Identify opportunities for service enhancement, increasing participation, and refining the resident experience.
- Manage scheduling, logistics, and resources for daily program delivery.
- Collaborate with care and clinical teams to align lifestyle programs with residents' individual needs and care requirements.
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality delivery.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will be people-oriented with a proven track record in aged care or related fields, particularly demonstrating an understanding of older adults' needs, including those living with dementia. Essential traits include a positive outlook, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for enriching older adults' lives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in aged care, hospitality, customer service, sales, or equivalent sectors.
- Awareness of person-centred care principles and older people's diverse needs.
- Customer-driven and business-aware mindset capable of promoting and developing service offerings accordingly.
- Ability to build strong relationships across a broad stakeholder network.
- Excellent organizational and coordination abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Comfortable working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
