About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and approachable Cleaning Supervisor to manage daily healthcare cleaning operations at Carlton Court & Dragon Fly Unit, Lowestoft. This vital position involves ensuring cleanliness standards meet healthcare requirements, organizing team tasks, overseeing stock, and maintaining seamless service delivery through effective supervision and leadership.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a permanent, full-time role requiring 37.5 hours weekly on variable shifts:

  • Week 1: Monday 06:00 - 14:00; Tuesday to Thursday 09:00 - 17:00; Friday 06:00 - 14:00
  • Week 2: Tuesday to Thursday 09:00 - 17:00; Saturday and Sunday 06:00 - 14:00

The salary is £13.86 per hour on weekdays, with increased rates for weekends: £20.79 per hour on Saturdays and £27.72 per hour on Sundays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the cleaning team to foster growth and success.
  • Uphold rigorous cleanliness standards in a sensitive healthcare environment.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning operations and manage inventory to ensure smooth workflow.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in cleaning-related roles.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented with strong adherence to instructions.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Good communication abilities.
