Role Overview

This full-time position based in Abu Dhabi requires the Cleaner to execute daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping designated surfaces. The responsibilities extend to sanitizing restrooms, break areas, and communal spaces; emptying waste containers; restocking consumables; and ensuring safe use and storage of cleaning tools and materials. The role demands adherence to checklists, health and safety standards, reporting maintenance or safety concerns, and addressing reasonable cleanliness requests from supervisors or clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal with consistency and attention to detail.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and shared areas regularly.
• Manage trash removal and replenishment of cleaning supplies promptly.
• Handle cleaning equipment and materials properly, adhering to safety procedures.
• Follow established cleaning schedules, checklists, and supervisor guidelines.
• Report any safety issues or maintenance needs encountered during duties.
• Respond effectively to client or supervisor requirements related to hygiene and cleanliness.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficiency in basic cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning products and equipment.
• Awareness of hygiene standards and safety practices, including appropriate use of personal protective equipment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, lift moderate weights, and repeat tasks throughout shifts.
• Reliable in managing time and following instructions and schedules accurately.
• Basic communication skills in English or local languages to understand directions and interact with the team.
• Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is advantageous; however, training on the job is available.
• Flexibility to work assigned shifts and maintain professional behavior in a diverse workplace.
