Key responsibilities

Your main objective is to keep all parts of the pub spotless so that customers always experience a high standard of cleanliness. The venue operates early starts and late finishes, so the role includes flexible working patterns across mornings, evenings, weekends and late shifts.

• Clean customer areas, toilets, the bar, kitchen, staff spaces and outdoor areas to a high standard
• Carry out daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties in line with standard operating procedures
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely and correctly
• Check stock levels of cleaning supplies and inform the manager when replenishment is needed
• Escalate maintenance problems and pest-control concerns to the duty manager
• Interact courteously with guests by greeting them and saying thank you and goodbye
• Complete induction, role-specific and refresher training, while supporting ongoing improvement
