About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Cleaner to become a vital part of our cleaning and facilities teams, supporting Defence sector clients. This position involves a 37-hour workweek and requires commitment to maintaining safe and hygienic environments for our clients and customers. Your role will be essential in delivering excellent experiences through thorough cleanliness and attention to detail.
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: Full-time day shifts
- Saturday and Sunday: No scheduled work
The role is contracted for 50.2 weeks annually.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cleaning and facilities teams to maintain safe, sanitized environments
- Carry out cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming to high standards
- Sanitize surfaces, floors, windows, and frequently touched areas regularly
- Promptly clean spills and perform additional cleaning tasks as needed
- Manage waste by emptying and disposing of bins
- Monitor cleaning inventory and restock supplies accordingly
Desired Attributes and Experience
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Enjoyment of hands-on, practical work
- Previous cleaning experience is preferable but not mandatory
- Flexibility in work approach and schedule
