About the Role
Gautam Solar Power Private Limited is seeking a committed Civil Engineer based in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh to oversee civil construction operations at the project site. The role demands ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality-compliant civil works, with a preference for candidates experienced in industrial or solar energy projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage daily civil construction operations at the project location.
- Ensure work adheres to approved plans, specifications, and schedule requirements.
- Supervise activities including RCC, PCC works, foundations, excavation, backfilling, drainage, roadworks, and structural components.
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and project teams to maintain smooth execution.
- Perform site inspections to enforce quality standards.
- Confirm measurements, prepare daily progress documentation, and keep site records updated.
- Enforce safety protocols and comply with company policies.
- Oversee material usage to reduce waste.
- Troubleshoot site technical challenges and propose suitable engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams during project implementation.
Candidate Requirements
- B.E., B.Tech, or Diploma in Civil Engineering required.
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in civil construction, industrial, or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience in solar power projects is an advantage.
- Fresh graduates with good technical knowledge are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of civil construction and site management techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, coordination, and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety procedures and quality assurance standards.
