About the Role
Kored Infratech Private Limited is a progressive engineering and construction firm specializing in Telecom, Infrastructure, and Realty sectors. We are seeking an experienced and committed Civil Engineer to oversee railway infrastructure projects, ensuring that daily site operations adhere to project standards, safety norms, and timeline milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction and site activities specifically related to railway infrastructure projects.
- Track project progress to ensure tasks are completed according to planned schedules.
- Work closely with Site Engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and skilled labor to coordinate activities efficiently.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, project specifications, and strict safety protocols.
- Perform daily site inspections and prepare detailed work progress reports.
- Confirm material availability coordinating with procurement and store departments.
- Manage the effective deployment of labor, machinery, and construction equipment.
- Maintain comprehensive site documentation including work records and attendance logs.
- Report any site-related issues, delays, or safety concerns to Project Engineers or Managers promptly.
- Support various civil infrastructure activities such as earthworks, track laying, drainage systems, and culvert construction within railway projects.
- Ensure the site is maintained in an orderly condition, promoting workplace safety at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Foundational knowledge of railway and infrastructure construction processes.
- Strong capability to supervise site executions and effectively manage workforce.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and comprehend project specifications.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Understanding of quality control and enforcement of safety measures.
- Basic proficiency with computer applications such as MS Excel and MS Office is desirable.
- Educational background in Civil Engineering through a Diploma or Bachelor's degree or a related field.
- Prior experience in railway or infrastructure projects is advantageous.
Additional Information
- Minimum of 1 year experience in railway or infrastructure projects is required.
- Candidate should be willing to travel or relocate as per project site demands.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving aptitude, and ability to work collaboratively in teams are essential.
