Role and Responsibilities

As a Civil Engineer with FABS, you will be entrusted with supervising and implementing all civil engineering activities for industrial projects in line with design documents, technical specifications, and mandated safety guidelines. Your duties will encompass planning daily tasks, managing resource allocation—comprising workforce, equipment, and materials—to maintain steady project momentum. This role requires precise interpretation of structural, architectural, and services engineering drawings to ensure correct on-site execution. You'll oversee construction operations, including foundation work, RCC processes, industrial flooring, structural erection, road and drainage development, and finishing tasks.

Coordination with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams will be critical to meet project deadlines. You'll also be responsible for generating progress documentation such as daily and weekly reports, maintaining comprehensive site records, and ensuring quality control of materials and workmanship aligned with IS codes and industrial standards. Additional responsibilities include assisting with BOQ validation, material audits, quantity surveying, resolving on-site challenges, facilitating technical support, and managing client and PMC inspections. Upholding rigorous safety and quality management systems is paramount throughout your workflow. Furthermore, you'll lend support to planning, billing, and procurement functions regarding site requirements.

Required Skills and Competencies

• In-depth understanding of industrial construction projects, including factory facilities, utilities, PEB, and RCC structural systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office suite, coupled with foundational knowledge of project management software.
• Sound familiarity with Indian Standards (IS codes), quality assurance and quality control protocols, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication abilities, effective site coordination, and leadership skills for managing teams.
• Capability to manage multiple site operations under strict deadlines.

Eligibility

Candidates must possess a Diploma or a Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Civil Engineering to qualify for this role.
