Role Summary

The City Operations Manager position in Jeddah is a full-time, onsite role responsible for leading the daily operational activities within the city. This manager is tasked with balancing supply and demand by driving efficient onboarding, supporting, and managing the performance of drovox Heroes (drivers). They monitor key performance indicators, detect operational challenges, and implement data-driven solutions to enhance reliability, service quality, and safety. Collaborating with product, marketing, customer experience, and partnerships teams, the manager spearheads local initiatives and process enhancements. Additional responsibilities include team supervision, liaising with external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven expertise in operations management encompassing process optimization, resource allocation, and performance oversight.
• Background in mobility, transportation, logistics, or related sectors with insight into ride-hailing or on-demand frameworks.
• Capacity for data analytics and problem-solving to interpret key metrics, detect patterns, and drive impactful improvements.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities for collaborating with teams, drivers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Experience in leading, coaching, and developing operational personnel locally.
• Focus on enhancing customer experience, safety, and service excellence.
• Comfortable working with technology platforms and mobile applications; ability to partner closely with product and technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced qualifications advantageous.
• Proficiency in English mandatory; knowledge of Arabic and familiarity with the Saudi market highly desirable.
• Available to work full-time on-site in Jeddah, including flexible hours to address operational exigencies.
