Chief Executive Officer - Chemicals for Mining and Industrial Sectors

Position Overview

The Chief Executive Officer will spearhead the commercial direction at a global or regional scale, focusing on sales of processing reagents, flotation chemicals, and water treatment solutions catered to mining and industrial sectors. This leadership role centers on revenue expansion, managing key enterprise accounts, and tailoring product portfolios to address client-specific requirements.

Primary Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aimed at meeting revenue and profit objectives within the mining industry.
• Lead and develop sales, technical support, and account management teams across regions or globally, fostering growth and expertise.
• Maintain strategic relationships with leading mining companies and top-tier operations to secure high-value contracts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Research & Development, supply chain, and engineering units to customize chemical formulations to suit specific mineral processing needs.
• Conduct ongoing market analysis to assess global mineral commodity trends, competitor actions, and regulatory frameworks affecting chemical applications.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, or Chemistry with a strong preference for candidates holding an MBA.
• Minimum of 12 years of B2B sales experience in industrial sectors, including 5 to 7 years in high-level executive leadership focusing on chemical or heavy industrial markets.
• In-depth understanding of mineral processing methods such as froth flotation and hydrometallurgy, alongside expertise in mine-site water treatment chemistry.
• Proven track record managing extended enterprise sales cycles and negotiating high-value supply contracts while leading geographically dispersed teams.
