Role Overview
LaSante Health Center is hiring a Certified Nutritionist to support patients with individualized nutrition guidance, chronic condition management, and broader wellness goals. This position is based in Brooklyn, NY and offers a salary starting at $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Create tailored nutrition plans after evaluating each patient’s needs and goals.
- Teach patients practical habits related to balanced eating, prevention of illness, and weight control.
- Use nutrition-based strategies to help patients manage ongoing health conditions.
- Work closely with doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Organize and deliver nutrition education sessions and keep current with developments in the field.
- Document patient information carefully and connect individuals with food security support resources when needed.
Qualifications
