Position Summary
Working as a Cashier at Walmart Canada offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the retail sector. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all customers in a polite and friendly manner.
- Efficiently process all purchase transactions, including deactivating merchandise per the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Program.
- Promote company-sponsored programs such as credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives.
- Assist customers with bagging and loading purchased goods.
- Follow safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and maintaining a tidy workspace.
- Maintain register security and integrity by carefully managing cash, adhering to company policies, and staying alert to surroundings.
- Redirect relevant service and transactional queries to the Customer Service Manager as necessary.
Salary Details
The starting wage for this position is $16.15 per hour.

- Candidate must be at least 16 years old.
